Thousands celebrate Fiji's win at ANZ Stadium

Update: 12:43PM MORE than 4000 people gathered at the ANZ Stadium in Suva to watch the Fiji men's rugby sevens team create history at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in Brazil.
People took a break from their work, schools and other commitments to support the boys while Times Sports team noticed less vehicles and people on the streets before the final.
The supporters came in Fiji colours, wearing rugby jerseys and carrying flags to cheer the boys.
Fans started merrymaking with many opting to celebrate with their family and friends.
Police officers were also present at the ground controlling the crowd and the traffic around the venue.
Fiji won the first-ever Olympic gold medal, defeating Great Britain 43-7 in the final.
