Some of the fierce battles in world war two were fought in
Guadalcanal Solomon islands. During this time Solomon Islands was under the British
protectorate. The battle was fought between August 7, 1942 and February 9, 1943.
It was the decisive and the most strategic battle of world war two that fought
in the air, land and sea.

The United states had 60, 000 men on the ground forces and
Japan had , 63, 200 men on the ground as
well. There were of alots of damages and loses from the both sides. US and its
allies lost 29 ships, 615 air crafts, had their 4 men captured and 7,100 were killed. Japan on the other hand
had 31, 000 killed, 1,000 of its men were captured. It had lost 38 ships and
683 to 880 air craft were lost.
After the war was over Florida and Guadalcanal became the heaps of wreckage and water of oil. having such a mess, what will the The Solomon islands do to the wrecks. No doubt that they were become pollutant . However, there is a way that those wreckage could turn in money.
