Lena Dunham
and pal Amy Schumer had a candid chat for aLenny Letter interview released on Friday, September 2, but fans and critics of the two women aren't exactly pleased about their discussion.
The conversation, which was published as part of Dunham’s Lenny Letter newsletter, hit a few problematic pot holes, but perhaps the most criticized was the part where Dunham, 30, and Schumer, 35, relived their night at the 2016 Met Bal

“You and I were literally sitting across from each other at the Met Ball, and it was like a crazy countdown to when we could escape,” the Girls creator said. “You were like, ‘We’re honored to be here. We’re honored to be here.’”
I left so early. When did you leave?” Schumer asked.

“I attempted to grind my a-- on Michael B. Jordan for an additional 20 minutes and then left right after you,” Dunham, who is an outspoken feminist, replied. “I was sitting next to Odell Beckham Jr., and it was so amazing because it was like he looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards. He was like, ’That’s a marshmallow. That’s a child. That’s a dog.’ It wasn’t mean — he just seemed confused.”
