Fijivillage has received confirmation that NFP Leader Biman Prasad, Attar Singh, SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka and Tupeni Baba are being questioned by Police.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the names of the people taken in for questioning will not be revealed for now.
She says this is to clarify if the information received is credible.
Naisoro says this is a Police process conducted when information is received about possible issues that could affect the safety and security of all Fijians.
She says the step is being taken merely to eliminate all doubts and concerns.
We spoke to Biman Prasad earlier this afternoon and he said that Police came looking for him in the morning.
